Spectrum filtration granular media consist of media from Purafil & Kalimati generally spherical, porous pellets formed from activated carbon to provide an enhanced removal capacity for acid gases and other corrosive contaminants in industrial environments.

Impregnated Media

Impregnated granules are a type of activated carbon that has been modified to enhance its adsorption properties for specific gases or vapors. In gas filtration, impregnated granules are used to remove pollutants that are not effectively adsorbed by regular activated carbon.

Impregnated granules are produced by adding chemical compounds to activated carbon during the manufacturing process. The added compounds react with the activated carbon, creating a new material with enhanced adsorption properties for specific gases or vapors. The type of impregnating agent used depends on the target pollutant, and different agents can be used to enhance the performance of activated carbon for specific applications.

V-Carb 250

Spectrum Carb V-250 is designed to provide high gas adsorbing nature and odour control at high concentration levels. The unique 3 layer filter media comprised of activated carbon sandwiched between two layers of synthetic media which act as a barrier in removing toxic gases. The filter possesses high adsorption capacity due to less adhesive shielding.

Spectra Carb

Spectra Carbon - Pleated is designed to provide high gas adsorbing nature and odour control at high concentration levels. The unique filter media composed of layers of activated carbon structures which act as a barrier in removing toxic gases. 3-layer activated carbon non woven filter material with high adsorption capacity at targeted basis weight.
